Police in Bhopal have filed a fraud case against Mission Hospital in Damoh

BHOPAL: Police on Tuesday registered a case of fraud against the management of Mission Hospital, Damoh-where Dr Narendra Yadav, also known as Dr N John Camm, who is in police custody now for unauthorised cardiac surgeries using forged documents and allegation of deaths of various patients worked-for allegedly using forged signatures of a doctor for running cath lab in their premises.
Police have registered case against 9 management personnel of the Mission Hospital under relevant sections of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita and also under the relevant sections of the MP Nursing homes Act.
The case came of alleged death of patients at hospital following surgeries by Dr Narendra Yadav came to light after one Krishna Patel filed a complaint with the Human Rights Commission, alleging fraud in the name of heart surgery. He accused Dr Yadav of using a fake identity, claiming that the doctor’s Aadhaar card listed a German citizen as his father and contained other suspicious details.

The SIT is expected to present Dr Yadav in court again on April 17, as investigations continue into what is increasingly appearing to be a case of medical fraud with international dimensions.
